Polina was born in St.Petersburg, Russia.
After finishing her studies in the Art School department of “Muhina School of Industrial Arts” in St.Petersburg she continued her education in St.Petersburg State Pedagogical University. After the studies at the University she started teaching ceramics at school.
In the 90’s she finished her courses of Modern Art Curators. After then she worked as exhibition manager at Russian Museum.
In 2000 she began working as a fashion photographer. She held the position of photo editor in lifestyle magazine “Afisha” and “BG” in St.Petersburg.
After the immigration to Canada in 2006 she continued her photography career in Montreal, Canada and now in Toronto.
From 2007 she runs photography school in Montreal: The PHOTO School
Varvara was born in Far East of Russia.
When she was in her teens, she immigrated to Canada and decided to pursuit her passion for art in Vanier College which later led her to study Art History at Concordia University. Not only that, she also got a Professional Photography Diploma with Concordia's Continuing Education program.
Varvara loves to invoke emotions in people with her photography. Showcasing their true beauty is very important for her.
Since 2012, Varvara started photographing weddings, and she got "hooked". Each wedding is very special for her, and puts a smile on her face to see people in love.
From 2016 she has been teaching photography at the PHOTO School in Montreal, Canada.
